[ He tries to hide the amused little grin forming on his lips, but as soon as he saw her pop out from the door he couldn't hide it anymore. ]

[ he didn't hear the lyrics but he hums a little from what he heard. ]

[ No shame here! She laughs, twirling a bit to get back inside. ]

[ Boy, that pause is telling, ain't it? She flips through the zine, trying to 'change the subject'. ]

[ he tries to keep from laughing because this just sounds so silly, but she has such a serious look on her face. Girls and their pop groups are pretty dangerous, huh?? He clears out his throat and starts up the beatboxing noises along with her. ]

Anyway, as he begins to 'beatbox', Mei begins not only to sing... but dance. You bet she has all the moves memorized from the music video! ]

[ This plan might have backfired a tiny bit. This song is actually kinda catchy. Maybe it's the way Meilin was putting her everything into it, or maybe it was just the song in general...

Though his movements aren't as on the point as hers, he watches her do the dance and a little more sloppily joins in, still keeping up the 'beatboxing']

[ How is it so easy to fall into the pop idol trap like this? This must be how his otaku younger brother feels whenever his idols are putting on a show or something, because Mammon quickly follows Melin's lead. And of course he has to get a little flashy with his own dance moves.

[ Instead of taking comfort in Hot Boy Hugs, Mei instead pulls away from him and runs to her bed, grabbing her blanket and falling to the floor, trying to hide under it. Which. Is kinda pointless when the blanket is meant to cover a 13 year old girl and not. a giant red panda. ]

[ Now that Mammon is no longer swept up in the song euphoria, he might notice the room is kinda... disheveled? Like someone tries to make it neat and tidy every day, but there are claw marks, cracks, and other signs of damage from the panda form. ]

[ This was just like the flower festival when Mammon had to chase her down! Now shes doing it— oh. As he held open her door, the thought actually crossed his mind. Was this happening back then too? And she was just trying to hide it from him?

Frowning thoughtfully he lets the door close after him as he makes his way to her room. She was pretty obvious, even if he hadn't seen where she went. He took a mental note of all the claw marks and everything... can't be easy for a kid to deal with on her own.

Once he makes it to her room, he sits himself down in the doorway, looking up at the ceiling instead.]

[ The blanket, small as it is, barely even covers all of her head. It's also not sound-proof, so Mammon will definitely hear her crying and sniffling. ]

Why do I keep screwing up...?! I thought I had this under control... I'm so sorry, mommy...

[ She curls up into herself as best she can. For all her hot-boy thirst and positive singing, she is also still... a little girl without her parents. ]
